The Hunt Begins (for Missoula’s Best Ham and Cheese Omelet)

Ham and Cheese Omelet with Biscuit and Gravy from Paul's Pancake Parlor
A while back, on Twitter, I declared that I was going to eat a Ham and Cheese Omelet from everywhere in Missoula, and then give you guys the breakdown. Well, I'm typically just a lot of talk, but I finally decided to start working on this. What better place to start that one of Missoula's favorite Breakfast locations, Paul's Pancake Parlor! If you live here then you probably love Paul's already, but you definitely know not to try and go there on Saturday or Sunday mornings between 10am-noon. Otherwise, you are waiting outside. Although, they manage to cycle folks through there pretty quick, so it's never too long of a wait.
Anyway, when you order an omelet at Paul's, you get a choice of side. I think it's pancakes, toast or biscuit and gravy. Unless you have a real sweet tooth, the choice is obvious. Duh.... Gravy! Their gravy is one of my favorite but I know some folks who don't like it. There is a slight underlying sweetness to it, that could possibly freak you out if you don't like sweet and savory to mix. The hashbrowns at Paul's are pretty much perfect, so I have nothing to bitch about there. Within seconds of taking this photo, you can bet that some of my "extra" gravy made its way onto those browns.
One thing I should mention here, in case you are a purist or snob, is that the cheese is definitely processed cheese. I think it's American, but it might possibly be velveeta? Regardless, if you can't admit to yourself that American Cheese and Velveeta can be delicious, then I feel sorry for you. 
As for the rest of the omelet, it sported big chunks of ham and plenty of it. The inside was oozing with cheesy goodness and the outside of the omelet was nice and thin... and not burnt or overdone. (You'll see why I have to mention that last part when we get to some of the other contenders).
I had thought about a rating system or scale for this challenge. How about I just tell you who is the current winner? So, right now (since there is only one submission so far) Paul's Pancake Parlor is in the lead! Heh.
