Unknown Dish (possibly Tagine-cooked?)

Yup, you guessed it. We have another mystery submission from Doug Smith. I'm guessing this one was prepared in a Tagine, but that's about as much as I can guess. The mascarpone or sour cream in the middle is throwing me, though. I wouldn't expect that in something Moroccan. But, this is all conjecture until Doug chimes in.
