Cheseburger, Crinkle Chips and Coleslaw

Cheseburger, Crinkle Chips and Coleslaw

Ahh.. the three C's.  Cheeseburgers, Crinkle Chips and Coleslaw.  Wait.. I guess that's four C's, eh?  Anyway, I actually forget what the potatoes were called, I'm pretty sure I just made up Crinkle Chips just now.  Anyway, on to the food!

Today I'm going to post three pictures that we took from the Old Timer Cafe in St. Ignatius, Montana.  I thought about doing it as one post, but I want the pictures to all show up on the home page, so instead of hogging three days worth of updates, you get three in one day!  Lucky you, right?

Anyway, this food was perfect at the time we got it.  We were driving back from Symes Hotel in Hot Springs, Montana where we had spent pretty much the whole weekend soaking in hot mineral water.  For some reason, everyone in the family was ravenous (wait till you see the picture of my son attacking his cheeseburger) by the time we got to the Old Timer Cafe, so it's simple diner food was exactly what we needed.

The cafe itself was pretty charming.  Just felt like old school, small town, Montana, and that was just right.  I meant to take a picture of a big display they had of like 300 bottles of hot sauce.  Ah well.. I'll get it next time, because something tells me this is our new place to stop on the way to soak.

Erika reminded me that they were called Buffalo Chips, not Crinkle Chips.
